korpiporo
At the Korpiporo reindeer farm, you can learn about the life of reindeer and go on a reindeer ride. Take photos as a souvenir or have a moment feeding the reindeers.
You can also find authentic reindeer products as souvenirs at the reindeer farm. The owner of the farm will be there to tell you about life on the reindeer farm.

snow mobiling
Snowmobiling in Suomussalmi is one of the most popular activities for winter tourists. Suomussalmi has over 500 km of maintained trails, of which approximately 400 km are mechanically maintained. You can reach the magnificent snowmobiling landscapes directly from the hotel yard. You can ride around the popular Kiantal ake trail or ride to Hossa – either way, the views are breathtaking.
snowshoeing & skiing
From our hotel yard you can go snowshoeing in the nearby or skiing on well-maintained ski trails. There are approximately 30 km of ski trails, almost half of which are illuminated between the center of Suomussalmi and Haverinen Ski Resort, as well as in Haverinen Ski Resort.
In spring, a sun trail will be opened on Lake Kiantajärvi, where you can enjoy the early winter sun in magnificent lake views.
